Gertie the Dinosaur

There is only very little change between each frame. It makes the animation smooth and dynamic. There is no dialogue in this animation. It used subtitles and behaviors of the dinosaur to make a conversation in this animation. The interaction between the dinosaur and her handler is very clear and simple. It makes a very strong story structure. Therefore, the audiences can realize this dinosaur and the whole story through this silent conversation.  The background music is also very helpful to construct the story. The change of music also affects the feelings of audiences. I think this is a very interesting and impressive animation. It narrated a complete story and showed the personalities of this dinosaur in 5 minutes. The tactics are effective in this animation.
